About TOEFL iBT
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is an English proficiency exam accepted by over 11,000 universities, professional bodies, immigration authorities, and scholarship agencies across 150 countries. It is the most widely recognized English language test globally, administered in more than 4,500 test centers across 165+ countries.
TOEFL iBT, conducted by the non-profit organization ETS (Educational Testing Service), assesses non-native English speakers' ability to understand and use English in academic settings, such as universities and colleges.
The iBT (Internet-Based Test) is the most common version of TOEFL, and students can take the exam multiple times but not more than once within a 12-day period.
